What is it?
All we do is create a safe space for optimism and wonder to thrive and inspiration to bubble its way to the surface.
This event won't scale. Intimacy doesn't. Just 20 people. But somehow, magical moments happen here.
No name badges. People get closer. Music plays long into the night. Coffee is made with love. By heck, it is even harder to leave.
Your Talk
Do the talk you have always wanted to do. The one that scares you because it reveals the very essence of who you are.
We LOVE the hero's journey. The highs and the lows. And we LOVE vulnerability
If there is a formula for our talks, the ones that resonate most are those that are real, honest and powerful tales of human passion, resiliency and compassion.
They are human, humorous and humbling. They make you feel that you could do something amazing, too. We get to see you as a human being.

Your DO List
Be human. Be you. Tell the story you have always wanted. If your voice shakes, it is because it matters.
Tell us about your struggles and successes, warts and all. Failure is often a better teacher than success.
Tell us your dreams, your passions, and what you stand for. Tell us about your crazy new idea or your brave new thinking. We need to know what drives you.
Don't read it. It’s time to leave your comfort zone. Let it flow from the heart. You will touch more people that way.
Do entertain. We cover some serious subjects, but it doesn't mean it can't be fun. Entertainment is good. People learn a lot while laughing.
It’s a 20-30 minute talk. Rehearsals will tell you if you have the right timing.

How do we pick our speakers?
As you well know, I am a fan! But I also believe you have a great story. That's the magical thing about stories. The best ones—we love to pass them around because they remind the world of what is possible. You light up their imagination and show them what they could be, too.
Will I be paid to talk?
We would love to pay our speakers, as we value your time hugely. But we don't make money from these events. We don't have a big sponsor, so we don't have a budget. But keep reading because I think you'll love the ending.
Our events are sometimes free, or with a low access to entry to accommodate artists just starting out. I know free is not a great business mode. While most people try to make margin at events, we simply focus on trying to create magic. We are in the inspiration business.
That said, the talks cost a lot of money to put on. A combination of by donation, ticket sales, and local business sponsors covers a small amount. Plus we rely on a lot of friends and fam to lend a hand.
What will I eat?
We really care about making sure you have something to eat. If you have any dietary needs, just let us know. We’ve got you!
Will I have my expenses paid?
Our aim is to make this easy for you. So, yes! Since the talk concludes at night, we have a few options. If you want to stay in our rustic and peaceful cabin in the woods, we can do that. If you want to stay in a hotel after the talk, we can arrange that for you too. We will reimburse you for your travel —specifically petrol.
At most events, you leave on the same day, and the sense of community goes with it. But we would love for you to have a wee experience. So if the talks start the fire, sitting down for dinner and resting afterwards fans the flames. We hope we can provide that for you.
Can I use Powerpoint or Keynote?
We have the whole caboodle. If you have any special requests, just let us know in advance. We will have a small sound system to help conserve your voice. And yes, we have all the wires and cables you need.
It's a platform.
All we ask, is that you give the talk of your life. And if you say yes (fingers crossed!), we’ll send you a release form. That way we feel confident that we can take photos, videos or audio of you, to share with our community for free.
